Black Spoon Plastic Straws 8mm x 200mm

Black spoon plastic straws with an 8mm bore, 200mm long.

Buy the quantity you actually need. Available in packs of 200, 400 and 1,000 straws as well as the full case — so you can trial a size before committing to a pallet, or top up between deliveries.

A scoop is moulded into one end, so customers sip and spoon from a single utensil. Built for slush, thick shakes, floats and dessert drinks — and it saves handing out a spoon with every serve.

8mm bore. Wide bore for milkshakes, thinner smoothies, slush and blended iced drinks. Also the standard bore for spoon straws.

200mm length. Standard length — 12oz to 16oz takeaway cups, highball glasses and cans.

Best for

• Smoothies — good for thinner, well-blended smoothies. Step up to 9mm if you use whole fruit or seeds.
• Milkshakes and thick shakes — fine for standard shakes and malts.
• Slush, floats and dessert drinks — the standard slush bore, especially with a spoon end.

Which bore do you need?

Bore is the internal diameter, and it is the only measurement that decides whether a drink actually comes up the straw. Too narrow and it blocks; too wide and you pay for material the drink does not need. Our range runs 6mm to 12mm:

• 6mm — soft drinks, juice, iced coffee, cordials and cocktails. Black Flexible Plastic Straws 6mm x 200mm, Black Paper Straws 3 Ply 6mm x 240mm.
• 8mm — milkshakes, thinner smoothies, slush and blended iced drinks. You are looking at an 8mm straw. Also in 8mm: Red & White Paper Straws 8mm x 230mm.
• 9mm — thick shakes, smoothies with pulp, and 80mm/90mm dome lids. Black Individually Wrapped Plastic Straws 9mm x 200mm.
• 10mm — very thick shakes, slush with fruit pieces, bubble tea with small pearls. Mixed Colour Plastic Straws 10mm x 200mm, Red Striped Paper Straws 3 Ply 10mm x 200mm.
• 12mm — bubble tea and boba — tapioca pearls need the full 12mm. Mixed Colour Plastic Straws 12mm x 260mm, Custom Print Paper Straws 4 Ply 12mm x 240mm.
