Who can buy plastic straws in the UK?

Single-use plastic straws cannot be supplied to the general public in England, Scotland or Wales. We supply exempt buyers only: businesses buying for resale, manufacturers, catering establishments (restaurant, pub, bar, cafe, canteen, club or takeaway), care homes, schools and early years settings, prisons and places of detention, registered pharmacies, and health professionals ordering for medical purposes. You will be asked to confirm your eligibility before checkout — see the plastic straw rules in full.

Need an unrestricted alternative? Our wholesale paper straws are plastic-free and can be supplied to trade and public alike.
