Red striped straight paper straws with a 10mm bore, 200mm long.

Straight-cut: cleaner look, lower cost per serve, higher pack density. The default for cans, cups and general service.
10mm bore. Jumbo bore for very thick shakes, slush with fruit pieces and bubble tea with smaller pearls.
200mm length. Standard length — 12oz to 16oz takeaway cups, highball glasses and cans.
Plastic-free. Paper straws fall outside the single-use plastic straw restrictions and can be supplied to anyone, trade or public, in any UK nation.
Best for
- Smoothies — for the thickest smoothies — frozen fruit, thick yoghurt bases, anything a 9mm struggles with.
- Milkshakes and thick shakes — for very thick shakes where a 9mm still stalls.
- Bubble tea and boba — works for smaller pearls and popping boba, but not full-size tapioca.
- Slush, floats and dessert drinks — for slush with fruit pieces that would block a narrower straw.

Which bore do you need?
Bore is the internal diameter, and it is the only measurement that decides whether a drink actually comes up the straw. Too narrow and it blocks; too wide and you pay for material the drink does not need. Our range runs 6mm to 12mm:
- 6mm — soft drinks, juice, iced coffee, cordials and cocktails. Black Flexible Plastic Straws 6mm x 200mm, Black Paper Straws 3 Ply 6mm x 240mm.
- 8mm — milkshakes, thinner smoothies, slush and blended iced drinks. Black Spoon Plastic Straws 8mm x 200mm, Red & White Paper Straws 8mm x 230mm.
- 9mm — thick shakes, smoothies with pulp, and 80mm/90mm dome lids. Black Individually Wrapped Plastic Straws 9mm x 200mm.
- 10mm — very thick shakes, slush with fruit pieces, bubble tea with small pearls. You are looking at a 10mm straw. Also in 10mm: Mixed Colour Plastic Straws 10mm x 200mm.
